This Half Dollar was made at the Denver Mint in 1982 to commemorate George Washington's 250th birthday. The Obverse side design depicts Washington wearing his military uniform and riding his horse. The Reverse side design depicts his house atop a grassy hill on his property, Mount Vernon. This coin has been professionally graded by AACGS (American Alliance Coin Grading Service) with a grade of Mint State 65. The coin comes with a protective holder for display.
