This 5-cent coin was minted between 1913 and 1938, and features a portrait on the Obverse made from a composite of 3 different Native American chieftains, and a depiction of an American Bison on the Reverse, based on the drawings found in the Lewis & Clark Expedition team's written journals. These coins are easy to find in lower grades, as they were one of the most popular circulation coins in US history.
