$50.00

Description

Graded by a previous owner, this Quarter Dollar was minted in 1907 at the Denver Mint, made from 90% silver and 10% copper. The Obverse side design features Lady Liberty wearing her Liberty Cap with an olive branch attached with a ribbon. 13 stars surround her head, a reference to the 13 colonies that started the USA. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" sits above. The Reverse side design features an older version of the USA Coat of Arms, with an eagle holding an olive branch with 13 leaves, and 13 arrows in either one of its talons. In the eagle's beak is a ribbon stating the USA's official motto "E. Pluribus Unum" which is Latin for "Out of many, one", and above the eagle's head is 13 stars, all of this referencing the formation of the USA from the 13 colonies. On the eagle's chest is a Union Shield, which has been part of the USA's coat of arms for centuries. Now with a $20 discount!
