Description

This coin was minted 54 years ago at the Mexico City Mint in the United Mexican States. It's Obverse features the Mexican Coat of Arms and official government seal, a Golden Eagle perched on a Prickly Pear Cactus and eating a rattlesnake. The Reverse side design features the portrait of José Maria Teclo Morelos y Pavón, a man who led the Mexican Independence movement and assumed it's leadership.
