$11.00

Description

Unprofessionally graded by myself - Fine condition - Made at the Philadelphia Mint and has no Mint Mark. This Mercury Dime is made from an alloy of 90% silver and 10% copper, and features a design of Lady Liberty on the Obverse. She's wearing a winged version of her Liberty Cap, resembling the Roman knockoff of the Greek God Hermes. The Reverse side depicts a bundle of poking rods with an executioner's axe tied to it, seen in French coinage since the 1900s. Around the bundle grows an olive branch.
